Is it ok to wear dark wash jeans to a black and white party?

My friend is throwing a sweet sixteen party. The invitation says that it is black/white attire, dressy-casual. I’m planning to wear a nice black and white spaghetti strap top, dark wash blue jeans, and peep toe pumps. Is it ok to wear jeans?

No. it is a BLACK AND WHITE party. not a BLUE, BLACK AND WHITE party. dont wear dark blue pants unless you want to be VERY noticable. i would just wear a white or black summer dress with white or black flip flops.

no unless your ok with akward remarks and glances

No, to the blue jeans…do you own some black ones???You would be ruining the theme of the party…would you like it if you had a party and asked people to wear summer casual attire and someone showed up in a suit??? It would go against the theme of the party wouldn’t it???

Eh, I always thought dressy casual was like more dressy. I would wear a black and white dress if I was you. Go to White House Black Market. I’m sure you’ll find something there

No, jeans to a dressy-casual party is bad.
When they say dress-casual they mean slacks and a nice shirt.
No dresses long or short, that’s overkill.
No jeans of any color, will look like you don’t care.

Maybe black slacks and a cute black and white top or one or the other.
Some cute heels and a nice necklace to top it off.

Why worry about what you look like, when you could worry about who you are?
And sweet 16s are stupid, I wouldn’t go. At 16 you can’t do anything fun anyway.
p.s. WHAT A LAAAAME THEME THAT ONE IS
