Top 5 Popular Designer Jeans Your Wardrobe Must Have
When you want to look good in a pair of jeans, the first and most effective way to do that is by finding the right and fashionable style for you. Only after that should you consider the brand name. Whether it’s Diesel, J Brand, Siwy, Rock and Republic, Page Premium, or other celebrity-supported designer jean brands, they’re sure to look great on you with the right style.
To help you choose the best designer jeans, consider the five most popular jean trends below.
Boyfriend Jeans
Right now, this is the hippest style of jeans you can have in your closet. Boyfriend jeans are so called because they look like you’ve snagged them from your guy’s closet, hence the rolled-up hem and the cuts and patches. It adds to the authenticity.
Boyfriend jeans are great but only if you find one with an ideal fit. Anything too big would look tacky while a too-tight fit would defeat the purpose of boyfriend jeans. Suggested designer jeans of this style can be found in the denim lines of Habitual and Current/Elliot.
Boot-Cut Jeans
Over the years, its popularity has gone up and down but it never really went away. They can be safely considered a classic so it’s another must-have for your designer jeans collection. For a 2009 look on boot-cut jeans, you can check out those sold by For All Mankind and Joe’s Jeans.
Trouser Jeans
Trouser jeans are – you guessed it – a hybrid of trousers and jeans, the perfect choice for occasions that ride the fine line between casual and semi-formal. Trouser jeans make you look smart, dressy, and elegant while still ensuring you don’t stick out like a sore, albeit beautiful thumb, in any setting. To own the prettiest trouser jeans in the world, check out those sold by Lucky Brand and 7 for All Mankind.
Designer Jeans: How to Make Sure You Only Buy the Real Ones
Buying designer jeans could well be the dream of many a shopper. Designer jeans, after all, are made so that they are stronger and so that they fit the body better. The problem with poorly crafted or tailored jeans is that they will look loose and ill-fitting on the body and they can make people look either too thin or too fat; or they can even make people look shapeless. Designer jeans are fit onto the body so that they have attractive contours. They might also be made of good fabrics that are cool on the body and yet protect the body from cold. It is for a good reason that designer jeans are expensive, but you may not have the right information for getting the best and real designer jeans.
Before shelling out that money in order to buy designer jeans, ask yourself: what exactly am I looking for? Do I want a good fit? Great fabric? Colors? Different designer jeans will have different looks and specialties, so make sure that you know what kinds of designer jeans will have what kinds of qualities.
Do your research – it’s not just school that needs you to do some reading, but shopping as well. Before you spend your money, you need to know what it is you are spending on. You need to do research on what your designer jeans should look like. Should the zipper be a certain brand? Should the jeans have a certain feel against your palms? Should the stitching be of a certain color or style? Should the jeans have certain brands or logos embossed? Read about these qualities so that you can get the best designer jeans and not find yourself cheated out of the deal.

How to Care for Designer Denim Jeans
You got a pair of designer jeans that matches your style and body shape you need to make sure you take care of them. Most people don’t realize that to extend the life of your jeans, proper care for the denim is important and will keep them in tip top condition. Clothes are not designed to last forever, but denim in particular gets softer and more form fitting over time. Care of jeans requires patience to get the longest life out of them.
1. To maintain the color of your jeans, wash them inside out.
2. If your jeans have faded and you want to add color, wash them together with a pair of new ones that have never been washed. The excess color from the new pair of jeans will transfer to the old pair in the process of washing.
3. Removing grass stains is very easy by rubbing some alcohol on the grass stains and let it sit for a while. Then wash as usual.
4. Authentic vintage jeans need special care when washing. The older the jeans are the more likely they are to tearing or fading with every wash. Machine washing inside out, in cold water on the delicate cycle would be my choice for washing vintage jeans.
5. Most of the wear and tear to your clothes is done in the dryer. If you are going to use the household dryer, use the low heat setting and dry them to about 80% dry. Use the hang dry method to finish the last 20% of the job. Tip: Fold the wet jeans in half over a hanger, then fold them in half again and then, lay them in the dryer by themselves. Turn the dryer on and the jeans will stay in the folded position.
