At first glance, buying jeans for your man shouldn’t be a hard thing to do, right? It’s not like they have different kinds of jeans the way women have. They certainly don’t have boyfriend jeans and few men can easily carry off wearing skinny or bell-bottom jeans. But if you want the perfect denim look for your guy then jeans shopping is more than knowing his waistline. Here are a few tips to help you get started.

Types of Fit
Yes, it’s important to know the waistline of your guy but that’s not the alpha and omega of buying men’s jeans. There are other types of fit to consider, such as the way a pair of jeans emphasize your guy’s behind or how it hugs his thighs and legs.

Classic Fit
This is basically what you’d term an ordinary or normal pair of jeans. Its fit is just right, not too tight or loose, and the cut is decidedly straight with no extra embellishments at all. Guys with lean or athletic builds are able to carry off this kind of jeans best.

Relaxed Fit
If your guy wants a somewhat looser style then you need to buy him jeans with a casual or relaxed fit. This is the type of jeans that gives him lots of flexibility to move, which is preferable if he’s staying at home, working on the field, or working out even.

Full Cut
Finally, there’s the full cut. Some people refer to this as baggy jeans. These jeans are built for larger-sized men, giving them more flexibility in the seat and legs. Smaller men opt to use this, however, for a more “hip-hop” look.

I’ve gathered that I should wear jeans. Since there are currently no Lucky Brand Jeans stores in my city (this is the first one and it hasn’t opened yet) I have to settle for my old navy jeans. I’m thinking grey flare with cute black heels. But what should I do for a shirt? It’s a group interview. Don’t want to look too fancy or too casual..

Today, I am really stiff. My leg muscles have tightened up to the point I don’t want to move from this computer chair – ever! It’s made me realise just how unfit I am and here’s what happened.

My autistic son loves trains, so yesterday I decided to take him and his brother to a nearby city to watch a circus performance. I was assured when I booked the tickets over the telephone it was in easy walking distance from the station. According to the booking clerk, it was about three-quarters of a mile.

Clearly he didn’t know the area because it was, infact, one and a half miles!

Anyway, despite it being summer, it was one of those showery days where one minute you need to wear a coat and the next tee shirt and sunglasses, so on occasions, we ended up carrying our excess clothing.

The outward walk from the train station was okay because we were all fresh, and there was no urgency to get to the circus. The tickets had been booked; we had seats and plenty of time. However, the return trip was not so pleasant.

As it was a Sunday, there was a reduced timetable, so there was a long delay between trains. As much as I appreciate the speed and ease of trains, I don’t share my son’s enthusiasm for watching them. The prospect of spending hours on a station platform was not particularly appealing. Consequently, when the circus performance ended, a quick scan of the train timetable revealed if we hurried, we could make the next train.

Men Fashion and style tips

Generally speaking men fashion and men style is not just about the clothes you wear and looking good in them. Of course  you must handpick those clothes that you feel you are comfortable with and if they are stylish it’s even better. Have confidence is the best advice anyone could give you related to your outfit and style. Here are some basic tips about men fashion and men style:

Smell good

Don’t overdo it . buy some nice fragrance that you like and wear it no matter it’s a rainy day or a sunny one. You will get compliments most of the time .

Shoes

There are more styles of shoes. Classic and trendy(fashion). It doesn’t matter which one you choose but a men with style and a little knowledge of fashion will always know what to chose for every piece of clothing he has.

Hair

We didn’t talk that much in previous posts about hair but you must give it full attention. Hair styling is not for everybody. If you see at TV some star with a nice haircut maybe it doesn’t fit you well like him. Try determine your face shape(round, oval  etc..) and then see some hairstyles you like for that kind of face type.

Color picking

Men fashion and men style is not just about the types of clothing is about colors too. Don’t be afraid to wear colors that you like. If you like blue wear it as often as you can , it will look good on you. Be sure to wear at least 2 colors anytime you don’t want to look that plain and simple.

What fit should I buy for rock & republic ladies jeans if I don’t want it too tight at the thigh? What style should it be?

I also like one that is darker blue denim wash and another medium blue denim wash that are both more dressy (if possible).

I have 2 pairs of blue jeans I would like to wash along with a few dark blue shirts, and some black basketball shorts – Can I wash jeans with these items? I think I could but I wanted to ask someone.

When I shop for skinny jeans I see all kinds of jeans that are called “skinny”, everything from jeans that are like skintight leggings to jeans that look like regular jeans, or even looser than regular jeans. How should true skinny jeans fit guys and girls, considering the top, thighs, and rest of the legs? Pictures or examples would be great.

I plan on wearing a white button-down shirt open with a black cami underneath. What wash jeans should I wear with it? A lighter wash or a darker one?
